Quality Control with Machine Vision | SIS Industries
In this project, we implemented an intelligent machine vision system based on a 2D camera, integrated into an existing bottling packaging line at SIS Industries.
The system performs high-speed, real-time inspection and reliably detects:
- Missing bottles during final packaging
- Damaged or missing excise labels, which compromise quality and traceability standards
Thanks to direct communication with the machinery, when a defect is detected, the system automatically:
- Sends a signal to the operator
- Stops or marks the defective product
- Logs statistics on the type and number of detected issues
This solution enhances quality control, minimizes human error, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. It is ideal for high-speed production lines where precision and reliability are critical.
